As, President of Global Leadership Network, she is involved with education and training for Leadership Development, Child Sexual Abuse, Child Protection, and pastoral counseling. Her work and ministry since 1995 have taken her to 46 different countries. She is also involved in mentoring and coaching to help individuals reach their fullest potential. Laurie is part of the leadership team at The Well Salt Lake City. She is the Assistant Director of the Leadership Development Program. LDP is a 9-month discipleship school to impart knowledge and skills for personal development, leadership development and increase in biblical knowledge.
During 2012, Laurie was part of a team of counselors (with Somebody Cares International and Victims Relief Ministries) that went to Denver, Colorado to do trauma counseling with the victims of a theater shooting. Laurie was also on a medical team to provide Trauma counseling two weeks after the 2010 earthquake in Haiti. Laurie has written a book entitled Woman, Why are you Weeping? Abuse – The Road to Recovery (available in (English, Spanish, and Marthi). She has also written training manuals on Child Abuse Protection and Policies
